The Washington Post reported yesterday that the (Hillary) Clinton campaign is attempting to enforce a new political speech code (my characterization, stealing from Mickey Kaus, not WaPo’s):
a new commandment for the 2008 presidential field: Thou shalt not mention anything related to the impeachment of her husband.
According to the article, “senior Clinton adviser [translation: political hit man] Howard Wolfson … dismissed references to President Bill Clinton’s conduct as ‘under the belt.’”
Well, of course they are. That’s where most of the illicit conduct occurred.
